Google is nationwide; â€Å"Today Google has more than 70 offices in more than 40 countries around the globe† (Company – Google, n.d.). Just over 40 years old, Chief Executive Officer of Google Sundar Pichai is a multicultural leader that continues to lead through many different traits. Sundar Pichai truly worked hard to be where he is today. Sundar was born as Pichai Sundararajan in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India where he went to one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in India the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur. He then got a scholarship to study materials science and physics at Stanford University. His schooling did not stop there as he then went to the Whaton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Sundar ended up at Google in 2004 where he worked his way up the ladder by proving himself to others and becoming CEO in August 2015. (By 2012, he had become the Senior Vice President of Chrome and apps, n.d.). To get that CEO position he has shown numerous amounts of traits that make a great multicultural leader. Sundar shows many traits as leader should such as dedicate, knowledgeable and optimistic. He leads with a democratic style that allows every voice to be heard.
